Hi, I’m Tomi, a 44-year-old wonder child living with my family in East Helsinki, surrounded by deer, foxes, and hares.
I’m a LUT alumnus whose journey kicked off with AIESEC, diving into leadership and teamwork, followed by a wild ride working in a leadership consultancy startup in Sri Lanka for just 350 € a month. I later founded my own social entrepreneurship venture (which failed), hitchhiked 200,000+ km during a five-year "homeless" adventure, took a short stint as a startup CEO (that also failed) and even designed mystery team-building experiences back in Sri Lanka (that was a success). Having said all that, I don’t believe in failure. There’s only success and learning opportunities.
For the past seven years, I’ve been a Salesforce consultant, crafting CRM-powered sites for diverse organizations, while dabbling in crypto and high-risk stocks—mostly learning how to pay hefty taxes.
I’ve mentored before, but it often felt artificial, like following someone else’s script. I’m here to break that mold, seeking a real, human connection with a young, daring mentee who’s not afraid to challenge my worldview with off-the-wall ideas or contrarian thinking. I won’t hand you answers but I’ll ask questions to spark your own discoveries.
Let’s connect mostly via video calls, though meeting in person at least once would be great. If you’re ready to explore what you can become with a bit of curiosity and boldness, I’d be honoured to be your guide.
