I graduated from LUT University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with my studies and thesis focusing on B2B business and value co-creation. My own career path has been quite hands-on: I joined 3stepIT about ten years ago as a marketing trainee and have since worked in business development, key account management, sales leadership and international growth. Today, I work as a Commercial Director. I have been working with the US market for the past two years, and in April 2026 I moved from Finland to the New York metropolitan area to continue building and growing the business locally. The move has also given me a fresh perspective on working across cultures, building something new and stepping outside your comfort zone.
I wanted to become a mentor because I believe that some of the most useful career advice comes from open conversations with someone who has recently faced similar decisions and uncertainties themselves. My own career has not followed a perfectly planned path, and I am happy to share both what has worked and what I would probably do differently. My mentoring style is informal, practical and straightforward – whether the discussion is about career choices, sales and business development, leadership, working internationally or simply figuring out what you want to do next.
I would especially enjoy mentoring someone who is curious, proactive and willing to challenge their own thinking. You definitely do not need to have your career figured out already – bringing questions, ideas and even uncertainty is more than enough. Outside work, I enjoy endurance sports, golf and generally finding new challenges.
