I have a master’s degree in Supply Management and minor in Sustainability – I graduated in 2019 spring semester. My work background is in procurement, but for the last four years I have been acting as a COO in a relatively small (~35 person) B2B cleaning company.
I applied to be in LUT’s mentoring programme since I find joy being able to help people in general and in this case to pursue the kind of career that’s fulfilling and has longevity from the mentee’s perspective. Knowing people from different career paths helps me to give perspective from various fields in business management. As a bonus I have many (objectively) great views regarding how to live your life, while also delivering wordplay jokes that you some (many) times wish you never heard.
To a certain degree I can give most advice to people pursuing procurement/sustainability/general management paths regarding their work life, but a mentee from any field is more than welcome to come to my guidance.
My current free time interests are surfing, writing, improvisation theatre and not getting beat up in MMA.
