I completed my Master of Science (Technology) in Electrical Engineering at LUT University, specialising in Renewable Power-to-X Economy. Before that, I earned a Master of Business Administration, which strengthened my leadership, management, and strategic planning skills. Alongside my studies, I worked as a Junior Research Assistant in the Solar Economy team at LUT, where I conducted systematic literature analysis on emerging renewable-energy components such as CO₂ utilization, bioenergy, heat storage, photovoltaic, and solar thermal technologies. This research experience deepened my understanding of sustainable energy systems and connected my engineering background with academic research in clean-energy transitions.
My professional career spans more than twelve years across Finland and Bangladesh in electrical engineering, industrial operations, and technical design. I have worked in petrochemical plants, manufacturing industries, telecom core networks, and most recently in switchgear design in Finland. My work has focused on high- and low-voltage power systems, electrical maintenance, instrumentation and automation, electrical safety auditing, and detailed design engineering using AutoCAD. I have led engineering teams, coordinated maintenance strategies, ensured compliance with international electrical standards, and supported safe and reliable industrial operations. This combination of academic research, international industry experience, and Finnish engineering work gives me a broad perspective that I want to share with students.
I wanted to become a mentor because I understand how valuable guidance can be when navigating studies, career decisions, and life in Finland, especially for students exploring technical fields or transitioning into industry. I hope to support a mentee who is curious, motivated, and open to discussing both academic and professional development. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Finnish nature, and learning about new technologies and renewable-energy trends. I look forward to offering honest conversations, practical advice, and encouragement throughout the mentoring journey.
