I graduated from LUT with a double Master’s degree: an MSc in International Marketing Management from LUT University and an MBA from Prague University of Economics and Business. My career has taken a few unexpected turns. I started in marketing while doing my Bachelor’s and worked my way from Project Manager to CFO in a marketing agency, moved into M&A at Deloitte, working with Financial Due Diligence, and later became a CFO in a SaaS company. Today, I work with analytical decision making in finance and business partnering. Looking back, the biggest value of this journey has not only been the roles I’ve had, but the people I’ve met, the different environments I’ve experienced and the opportunities I’ve had along the way.
I want to become a mentor because I genuinely believe in people, their potential and the opportunities that can emerge when someone believes in that potential. I know how valuable it can be to have someone challenge your thinking, share their experience and help you see possibilities you may not have considered yet. I would enjoy supporting a curious and open minded mentee, whether you already have a clear career plan or are still figuring out what feels right for you. We can talk about career choices, business, finance, leadership, entrepreneurship or simply navigating the first steps of your professional life. My mentoring style is informal, honest and practical, and I’m happy to share the successes, mistakes and lessons I’ve learned along the way.
Outside work, I enjoy sports, travelling and trying new things. I’m naturally curious about people and different perspectives, and I believe some of the best opportunities in life start with simply being open to a conversation. You don’t need to have your career figured out. You just need to be curious about where it could take you.
