Hello! My name is Mirva, and I graduated from Knowledge management master’s program in 2021. I wrote my thesis on emotion management. My first BBA degree is from the early 2000, so I have more than 20 years of work experience since then. I have mainly worked in HR, recruitment, employer branding and career service development. Currently I work in the largest unemployment fund in Finland as a service manager.
I've been told by many that I'm an emotionally intelligent person and easy to get along with. I see the big picture quite effortlessly and pick the important things from even a little bit of chaos. According to several opinions and references, my most inner motivation comes from helping others - and that's easy to agree with, since one of my superpowers is connecting people together. During my free time I enjoy nature, photography, pole dance and music.
I applied to be a mentor because I feel like it is now a good time to give something back from all the different perspectives I’ve gained in my career to help someone in finding their own path. I’m eager to learn a lot from the chosen mentee as well and really looking forward for our time together. The best match might probably be with someone studying economics.
